The Student Invention Studio is a makerspace designed to empower students with the tools and technology needed to bring their ideas to life. Whether you’re an engineer, artist, designer, or hobbyist, this space provides the tools and technology needed to prototype, iterate, and refine your creations. 

Equipment & Workspaces: 

  • 3D Printing Zone: Featuring 6 Bambu Labs and 6 Prusa 3D printers, offering high-speed, multi-material, and precision printing for a variety of applications. 
  • Laser Cutting & Engraving: Two Epilog laser cutter/engravers allow for precise cutting and engraving of wood, acrylic, and other materials. 
  • Vinyl Cutting: A vinyl cutter for custom decals, signage, and graphics. 
  • Sewing & Textiles: Two sewing machines for fabric prototyping, costume design, and soft goods development. 
  • Electronics Workbench: A dedicated electronics area equipped with soldering stations, circuit testing tools, and components for designing and prototyping circuits. 
  • Fabrication Area: Outfitted with essential tools including a drill press, sander, Dremel, bandsaw, and various power tools for woodworking, metalworking, and other fabrication tasks. 
  • Tool Storage & Workbenches: 
  • Two toolboxes stocked with hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, clamps, and measuring instruments to support all types of projects. 
  • Large workbenches provide ample space for assembly, collaboration, and hands-on experimentation.
