Empowering Students
We are excited to announce an annual fundraiser for the Innovation Shop here at the College of Engineering.
The Innovation Shop’s mission is to empower student innovators through experiential learning. With a cutting-edge space designed to foster academic and research projects, the Innovation Shop supports the departments, faculty, staff, and students at the College of Engineering.
To keep this momentum going, we are launching the 2024-25 Innovation Shop Annual Fundraiser with a goal of raising $50,000.
Hiring a Student Support Worker
Expanding mentorship and assistance for students working on projects.
Materials & Equipment
Keeping the shop stocked with essential resources for prototyping and innovation.
Outreach Activities
Engaging K-12 students and the broader community to inspire future engineers.
Workshops & Training
Providing students with hands-on learning experiences to sharpen their skills.
Student Activities
Give students opportunities to participate in hack-a-thons, mini trebuchets, paper circuits, after class hours and additional activities that engage the university community.

Engage Us
By engaging the Innovation Shop, you help to support the UConn College of Engineering departments, faculty, staff, and students in their design and prototyping needs. Students gain experience at the Innovation Shop in their starting days in the Foundation of Engineering course, through their capstone Senior Design projects. On the way, students gain experience in extracurricular clubs, in-course curriculum, and research projects.
